The site lies to the east of Coventry town centre and is bordered by Gulson Road to the South and Vecqueray Street to the east. The surrounding area contains several small to medium-sized buildings. The site was previously used as a ‘Build Base’ builders merchants. The development included the demolition of the builders’ merchants and redevelopment of the site for student accommodation. comprising 462 student bedrooms with associated communal facilities and amenity space, landscaped courtyard gardens, cycle and car parking and alterations to site access/egress.
The superstructure is up to 9 storeys in height and was constructed an in-situ reinforced concrete (rc) frame.
