For the past 3 years, Westlakes have supported the Blackpool Pier Company in the conservation and remediation works on the Blackpool piers, which are listed as Grade II structures.
The services provided by Westlakes include structural condition surveys of the Victorian-era cast iron piers, followed by recommendations on engineering works to be undertaken by specialist subcontractors.
