[post_content] => The Attraction Safety Team is engaged in the certification of ropes courses throughout the world, the most impressive of which is the Air Trail at Tees Barrage International White Water Centre, Stockton-on-Tees. Manufactured by Ropes Courses, Inc. and installed by Innovative Leisure, the course stands at 18 metres high and features 4 levels of suspended obstacles and zip lines for participants to negotiate whilst remaining permanently attached to a captive overhead rail safety system.

The Team completed a Pre-Use inspection of the device in accordance with HSG 175, referencing appropriate standards including EN 13814 for amusement devices and EN 15567 for ropes courses. In addition to the annual re certification of the device under the ADIPS scheme, the department is able to offer thorough inspections of all Personal Protective Equipment by competent independent assessors in accordance with the requirements of the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER).
