The Orlando Wheel on International Drive is a 112 meter diameter observation wheel that is similar to the London Eye, it has 30 passenger capsules each of which can accommodate up to 15 passengers. The passengers are free to move around anywhere in the capsule.
The Attraction Safety Team delivered world class services to ensure the commissioning of each capsule and the wheel as a whole, was compliant with international standards of manufacture and acceptance criteria. Upon operation of the wheel, Westlakes were retained as consultants during the first year to advise on any teething problems which may have arisen, a service which greatly reduces the risk of incidents on the device for the Client.
